At the Congress of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) in Sarajevo, Bakir Izetbegović was re-elected as the president of that party in the next mandate.
Eight delegates voted against, and one abstained.
Given that there was only one candidate for the SDA president, the delegates first expressed their opinion on the proposal of the SDA Election Commission, and accepted that the election of the SDA president for the next mandate period should be done by public vote, that is, by acclamation.
This is Izetbegović’s third mandate as SDA president.
