The Procedure to revoke KCUS Director’s Doctorate was terminated

The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Sarajevo Canton terminated the proceedings at the request of Sebija Izetbegović, the director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) against the decision of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs.

The suspension of the proceedings will last until the Municipal Court in Sarajevo resolves the previous issue in the case related to the decision of the rector of the University of Sarajevo from March 9 this year canceling the entry in the Master’s Register.

As stated in the explanation, the first-instance decision rejected the proposal to determine the insurance measure.

After the Senate had earlier decided to strip her of her master’s degree and full professorship, Izetbegović was also left without a doctorate degree.

Among the numerous reasons for making such a decision are incomplete documentation, lack of proof of passed exams, the fact that her master’s degree was never printed, and that the exams were written on a sheet of paper.
