In Čapljina, the handover of the keys to newly built apartments for 30 families took place.
It is a state housing project within the Regional Housing Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nerin Dizdar, Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees of FBiH, said that about 2.7 million BAM have been allocated for this project.
“This is the largest project of its kind in the Herzegovina region. This is the largest joint investment of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and our European partners. We are bringing this project to an end, and around ten thousand people will find a roof over their heads.”
Another 3,100 families throughout BiH are still waiting for their homes.
