From 7 June to 9 June Bosnian Cultural Centre of Tuzla is organising ‘Balkan Unplugged’ Acoustic Rock Fest (BUARF), an international festival dedicated to acoustic rock music.
It is a competitive festival, on open space, and it is the only such festival in the region. Location of the festival is park in front of the building of Bosnian Cultural Centre in Tuzla.
BUARF will be three day regional festival of acoustic music, similar to unplugged concerts of 90ies. The idea of the festival is to revive and to promote acoustic rock music, which is almost a forgotten form.
Three day festival will offer workshops and music events and as a part of the festival ten bands from BiH, Serbia and Croatia will present themselves, and music professionals will lead two day workshops for children and youth concerning the acoustic rock music, and at the end of every night, there will be a concert of a more famous rock groups from the region, who’ll play their unplugged versions of their songs.
The international jury will select the participants of the festival, and during the festival bands will be marked and at the end the best bands will get awards.
