Yesterday, the Mayor of Banja Luka, Drasko Stanivukovic, attended the prayerful remembrance of the 77th anniversary of the breakthrough of the Jasenovac camp prisoners and the 80th anniversary of the battle of Kozara, N1 reports.
Stanivukovic used the opportunity to thank the Very Reverend Bishop Jovan for the invitation.
He said that “there was a clear intention in this area in the Second World War, and that is the complete extermination of our people.”
In the end, he emphasized that peace is the only foundation for our future, and that is why it is important that we be guided by that thought in all challenges as a nation.
