Today, the Mayor of Banja Luka, Drasko Stanivukovic, will pay a visit to Tuzla, where he will meet with the Mayor of that city, Jasmin Imamovic. After the talks between the leaders of the two cities, it is planned to address the media.

Stanivukovic’s visit to Tuzla will follow after Sarajevo Mayor Benjamina Karic visited Banja Luka earlier this week.

At the beginning of her speech, she pointed out that Sarajevo and Banja Luka have many similarities and common things, and that is why we should not persistently look for differences between us.

One of the topics she highlighted after the meeting was the youth of these two mayors.

"We are representatives of the young generation of politicians who want to look ahead, who want to cooperate regardless of their different views. We want to show that we can do differently from the previous 30-year policy that Mayor Stanivuković and I did not create," she said.

She points out that such meetings should become a practice. "The mayors of Sarajevo and Banja Luka should meet even once a month, discuss joint projects, agree on joint activities and represent us in Europe and the world," she said. She thanked for the hospitality and that "Mayor Stanivuković extended his hand to Sarajevo".

"I expect a return visit very soon. I invite all citizens of Banja Luka to come to Sarajevo and all citizens of Sarajevo to visit Banja Luka," she said. In the end, the City of Sarajevo donated a children's park to the City of Banja Luka as a symbol of hope, Klix.ba
