banjaIn 2015, Health Tourism Centre “Banja Vrucica” has recorded over 200,000 overnight stays, which is the best result in the last 25 years.

“With great pleasure, we can say that we have, once again, not only met, but also exceeded the business plan. A record number of overnight stays is proof of the quality of services we provide and we are very grateful to all our guests who have recognized the quality we offer”, said General Director of “Banja Vrucica” Aleksandar Radosevic.

Out of total number of overnight stays 65 percent are local guests and 35 percent are guests from abroad. The largest number of foreign visitors this year comes from the Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian guests and foreign guests with the highest recorded increase are guests from Germany.

Radosevic said that in the last year “Banja Vrucica” achieved several important investments. In addition to renovation of hotel “Hercegovina”, construction of the underground corridor of 115 m length between the hotel “Kardial” and “Posavina” and medical parts has been recently completed.

“This investment, together with the construction of the square in front of the “Posavina” was about 650,000 BAM and was financed by our own means. Its completion has created conditions for uninterrupted medical rehabilitation during the winter period because guests do not have to go out on cold air when they go to therapy. The square itself has further embellished the space in front of the hotel and has already become very popular among visitors”, said Radosevic.

In addition, “Banja Vrucica” installed the hyperbaric chamber and a salt room and increased the monthly earnings of workers this year. For exceptional business results all employees were given traditional Christmas bonus.
