Sarajevo Winter 2016 to present the Best Artists from all around the World

sazimaThe selectors of the XXXII International Sarajevo Festival- Sarajevo Winter 2016 – “Dusa umjetnika – Dusa grada (Soul of artist – Soul of the city)”- chose projects for the largest traditional gathering of artists, audiences and the media for the upcoming edition of the festival which will be held from the 7th of February to the 21st of March 2016.

The selectors are: Lejla Alimanovic, Almir Basovic, Ceco Belma, Dubravka Zrncic Kulenovic, Lejla Panjeta, Meliha Taperic and Nermin Zildzo.

Sarajevo Winter 2016 will present the best works of art and artists from the world that were inspired by the motto of the Festival in all fields of creativity. The festival board also published an open competition with the topic “Dusa umjetnika i Grada (Soul of artist and the city)”. It is opened for all generations of creators and the best work will be presented at the closure of the XXXII International Festival on the 21st of March 2016.

The festival’s Head Office and the Art Team ANIMA chose photos from B&H artists in order to promote the project “Dusa umjetnika- Dusa grada”. The authors are: Haris Begic, Milimir Kovacevic-Strasni, Dejan Vekic and Ivo Rajic.

The music for the 2016 Sarajevo Winter and sounds dedicated to the festival, were composed by George Riverra / USA and Eric Breton / France.
