bascarsijske nociThe exhibition of paintings by Navid Bulbulija tonight in gallery Mak will open the 18th festival of Baščaršijske noći, which will last this year from 1-21 July.

Bulbulija presented his paintings that were created in the last 10 years.

“This is the first time in 10 years that I have made an exhibition for paintings. In collective exhibitions, I have shown video animations and installations, while paintings that I created during that time remained hidden from the public’’, said Bulbulija.

Due to a reduced budget this year, this year’s festival will be shorter, but the public will not be denied a rich content of exhibitions and other cultural events.

“We tried to preserve the continuity of the festival. Even if this year’s manifestation will be shorter, we will offer quality’’, said the Spokesperson of the Baščaršijske noći Goran Rašić.

A concert by Miroslav Tadić, who was named by the prominent American magazine Guitar Player in 1997 as one of the 30 most original guitarists of the world, will close this year’s festival on 21 July, announced TVSA.
