teletovicFamous B&H basketball player of the NBA League Mirza Teletovic will invest 10 million BAM on construction of two mini hydro power plants, as confirmed by Salem Dedic, the Mayor of Jablanica.

“We worked hard together with the Canton, and we managed to assign the concession for the construction of two mini hydro power plants to Teletovic family, who founded the company Eko Vat in Jablanica. The concession agreement was signed and now we will be solving property rights or more specifically land acquisition,” explained Dedic, emphasizing that this is just the beginning of good story of their fellow citizens.

Mini hydro power plants will be constructed on the Doljanka River, and according to the spatial plan, there is possibility for construction of two more mini hydro power plants.

The mayor is hoping that the project will start next year and that the Municipality of Jablanica will also have benefits by charging concessions, while the number of unemployed persons which is amounting to 2300, should be reduced.

Dedic also announced conversations with family Teletovic regarding public-private partnership.
