Bazdarevic Arrived in Zenica fokus.baThe coach of the national football team of B&H Mehmed Bazdarevic arrived with the coaching staff to the Training Center of the Football Federation of B&H yesterday morning, and in a statement to the press he said he expects a difficult match against Wales.

Bazdarevic said that a big temptation is ahead of the BH national team, but that he believes they have strength and quality to overcome the obstacle called Wales.

“I hope we have strength because the match is exceptionally important. A huge challenge is ahead of us, I don’t want to speak of the opponent, they are the first and they have a positive period. However, since the first day until today, although we have been encountering many difficulties which are normal in football, they are coming in a bad time for us. I believe that those who will come and those who are already here have strength and quality to overcome this obstacle. We will work and do everything to readily welcome the match and achieve the result we all want”, said Bazdarevic.

The coach added that there was a problem with the national team players, given that they did not have enough minutes played, but that he is happy for the good performances of Ibisevic, Pjanic, and other BH national team players. The press were also interested in the status of Senad Lukic, and the coach answered:

“We are waiting for the medical staff to examine Lulic and see what it is about. We want Lulic and everyone else to be ready for the match”.

The absence of Dzeko and Besic, and the possible absence of Lulic, is a huge handicap for the BH national team, and the coach hopes that all players will recover and that all injured players will play.

“It certainly is a handicap, you know that very well. Some things in football can be substituted with quality, but I think we have the strength and we have to search for it in these 22 players who are here. We must to everything, we have been working and we must jointly prepare for what awaits us”, said Bazdarevic.

The coach added that Dzeko is in Rome, where he is recovering, and that more information about his recovery should be known by yesterday afternoon.

“We will all be sad if the information we get tonight be different. I think this team, although weakened, has the power to make a result with fighting spirit and quality”, Bazdarevic concluded, and added that he expects great support from the best fans of the BH national team.
