Beauty of BIH: Una River and Bihac as rafting destinations in Bosnia

bihacBihac is town in the north-west of Bosnia, geographically very close to Zagreb, Croatia. Also one of the oldest in Bosnia with several interesting attractions and warm and brave people. But, when you speak about Bihac, after few sentences your story turn to Una.

If you ask yourself about the name of this river, it comes from old romans. When they saw this river for the first time, it just slipped from the lips: Una (latin: unique). This river is really fantastic and this beauty you can’t find anywhere else. I use to come here often for business trip, but when you are here for fun don’t miss the rafting tour down the river. Plenty of waterfalls, with so clear drinking water all the way down your rafting route. Green color is special, and there is no emerald with such seductive shine. At the end of your descent down the river, water is calm, birds are singing and you are free from any stress just like a new born baby.
