Una-Sana Canton: Support to Employment of 173 Persons

bihac2Development agency of Una-Sana Caton is through continued to support the development of the real sector in USK its work, during which it identified sectors with the problem of finding adequate work force that is necessary for business development.

To assist companies in solving the problem of lack of adequate manpower, RA USK in 2014 provided funding to support eight companies from USK, which has trained a total of 232 unemployed persons according to needs of companies.

The largest number of trained persons is now employed, and by the end of the year there will be a total of 173 persons employed. The program was implemented in the five municipalities in USK, and the total value of the program is over 620,000 BAM.

RA USK will through this program support employment of 173 persons or 43.36% of the total number of created new jobs in the manufacturing industry USK.

”The largest number of employed persons through-cited program are young people, which is very important taking into account that the unemployment rate of young people in BiH over 60%,”says director of RA USC Haris Komić.
