Denis Bećirović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said on Friday that HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović is causing great damage to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it is no accident that he is said to be “one of the three key pillars of Greater Serbia’s politics”.
Bećirović on Friday laid flowers at Kovači cemetery on the occasion of May 2, i.e. the 33rd anniversary of the defense of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the city of Sarajevo.
In a statement to journalists, he said that the defense of the Presidency was crucial in that period.
Referring to the statements of HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović about the “three federal units”, Bećirović said that Čović does not act in the interest of the Croatian people or in the interest of BiH.
“In a manual written by Kecmanović and Antić, called the history of the RS, it is written that Čović is one of the three key pillars of Greater Serbia’s politics. You should read that part carefully, they did not write it by accident. We need good cooperation with Croatia and good cooperation between Bosniaks and Croats, but Čović is causing great damage to BiH”.
“Exclusively federalism is the future of this country, if you have three federal units, you have solved absolutely everything,” said Dragan Čović, president of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in an interview with Hrvatski tjednik, which was reported earlier this week by media in the region.
