Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, received yesterday the Director of the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Dilberović. They discussed the possibility for Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive candidate status for membership in the European Union at the European Council session in December.

Following the messages from EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Relations and Enlargement Olivér Várhely, the acceleration of work on 14 key priorities, necessary for dynamizing the European path of our country, was also discussed, announced the BiH Presidency.

Bećirović said that it is time for the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to make a positive turn in order to dynamize the integration process of our country in the EU. In this regard, he emphasized that it is of crucial importance that Bosnia and Herzegovina makes a series of positive developments in the coming weeks, and thus further justify the trust of the EU.

At the meeting, information was also exchanged on the process of institutional cooperation between BiH and the European Union, resulting from the Stabilization and Association Agreement, as well as the Coordination Mechanism.
