Becirovic meets with the Resident Coordinator of the UN for BiH

A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović spoke yesterday with the Resident Coordinator of the UN for Bosnia and Herzegovina Ingrid Macdonald.

Resident Coordinator of the UN in Bosnia and Herzegovina Macdonald recognized the BiH Presidency member’s engagement in concrete activities he undertakes at the beginning of his mandate in the Presidency.

During the meaningful meeting, the BiH Presidency member Bećirović informed Macdonald about the foreign policy priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed our country’s firm commitment to lasting peace, security and stable democratic development in the world.

He pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to the principles contained in the UN Charter, full respect for international law, democracy and human rights and freedoms. Also, Bećirović reiterated his unreserved support for solving the socio-economic problems of BiH citizens.

The interlocutors also discussed current global challenges and exchanged opinions on the reform of the UN organization, sustainable development, implementation of the 2030 Agenda, and climate change.
