A big mistake would be to move in the direction of endangering the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Michael Murphy, stressing that any attempt to secede from the entity or any other sub-state unit would constitute an anti-Dayton action and that the US would not tolerate.

He emphasized that the USA will not stand aside in the case of the secessionist policy of the Republika Srpska authorities.

Murphy met with the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, who, speaking about the security and political situation in our country, said that the dangerous anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional policies should not be ignored.

He pointed out the importance of continuing the reforms of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so that they could more efficiently fulfill their legal goals and obligations.

During the meeting, Bećirović emphasized that the alliance between the USA and Bosnia and Herzegovina is unbreakable and that the current circumstances in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and Europe require a stronger involvement of the USA.
