Regarding the information that the delegation of the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Becirovic spent almost 10 thousand BAM on VIP lounge services at two London airports in May of this year, his Cabinet gave a statement.
At the very beginning, they pointed out that “some specifically want us to fall for the discussion about VIP lounges and to forget that an attack on the constitutional order is ongoing.”
“At a time when the attack on the constitutional order is ongoing, individuals skillfully try to draw attention to VIP salons. This is not the end, but the beginning of a media harangue with the aim of separating people from the essential issues on which the preservation of the state depends. Of course, the additional goal is to overshadow the upcoming visit of the members of the Presidency of BiH to Ukraine, because it bothers the destroyers of BiH and their foreign mentors,” they added.
They further point out that “only the naive can fall for scams about VIP salons initiated and organized by individuals in high positions”.
In the end, they said that the use of the VIP lounge is not scheduled by a member of the Presidency of BiH, nor his Cabinet, but by the Protocol of the Presidency of BiH in communication with the Protocol of the host country, which is the usual procedure during all official visits by members of the Presidency of BiH.
“There is no member of the Presidency of BiH who has not used VIP lounges, just as there is no president in Europe who has not used them. During the extremely successful visit to the United Kingdom (UK), only minimal services were used, which refer to the protocol arrival of presidents of states and heads of government to the VIP area of the airport, from where the delegation is picked up by VIP vehicles of the host country. It is obvious that some want to use tendentious spins to overshadow the very successful visit of Dr. Denis Becirovic to the UK, which took place at the time of the most brutal attacks on the constitutional order of BiH, and was therefore of great importance for the country and all its citizens,” it was announced.
