The Association of Beekeepers of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) is also the organizer of the ninth Beekeeping and Honey Fair “Golden Road”, which opened on the City Square in Bihać.

The fair event lasts two days, and the general sponsors of the fair this year are the Government of the Una-Sana Canton and the Ministry of Economy.

“The Government of the Una-Sana Canton continuously supports the USK Beekeepers Association in all activities, including the organization of this fair and their activities on product branding in order to protect domestic production and increase competitiveness. Thanks to the beekeepers for all that they do and that we are recognized for their top quality products”, said USK Prime Minister Mustafa Ružnić.

At the beekeeping and honey fair, more than 20 exhibitors from all over Canton will present themselves, with an extremely wide range of products.

“21 exhibitors from all eight cities and municipalities were present at the Fair, and a really wide range of bee products was presented – from honey, pollen, propolis, to a mixture of products. The fair is actually a presentation of our work, the quality of the products, but also of this type of tourism offer of the Una-Sana Canton”, said the president of the Association of Beekeepers USK Hajrudin Šabić.

The Cantonal Association of Beekeepers currently has around 700 members, and they regularly visit domestic and international honey fairs, Fena reports.
