Beginning of Cooperation of Project Gold and Seven Partner Local Communities

goldThe project to improve local development (GOLD) is supported by the US and Swedish governments, and will formalize today in Tuzla the beginning of cooperation in local economic development with seven partner local communities in Tuzla.

The Director of USAID Mission B&H David Barth, Deputy Mayor of the city of Doboj and mayors of municipalities of Gračanica, Gradačac, Lukavac, Srebrenik, Tešanj and Živinice will sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

The main objective of USAID/Sida Project of improving local development (GOLD) is strong support to local communities for economic development, attracting investment and opening new working places.

USAID/Sida GOLD project develops a model of sustainable economic growth with partner municipalities to create a model of economic development, which will be applicable throughout the country as the basis for sustainable economic growth, announced USAID.
