The Belgian Group Mecaspring to invest 3 million BAM? (Gallery)

[wzslider autoplay=”true”] In the Business Zone Begovaca in Livno will soon start construction of the production plant of the company B-Spring, which is established by the Mecaspring Group from Belgium.

It is a leading manufacturer of springs in the Benelux countries, and their main activity is the production of springs and tools for all industries, especially in air and automotive industry, as announced on the official municipal website.

Mayor of Livno, Luka Celan, started discussions with Belgian company a little over a year ago. At yesterday’s meeting with the director of B-Spring, Frano Brajko, and owner of the Mecaspring Group, Salvatore Baiamonte, Celan expressed his satisfaction that all the previous negotiations gave concrete results and they agreed last preparatory activities before the start of construction.

In his address to media, director of B-Spring, Frano Brajko emphasized that they will be constructing an object of 2,100 m2 and a capacity of 30 employees in one shift.

“The value of the facility is between 2.5 and 3 million BAM. Also, we are planning to install the latest technology over time. Of course, we are open to upgrade the facility and increase capacity in the future,” said Brajko.

He added that he will share the experience with all potential Belgian and other investors and witness the work of municipal services which are carrying out all the necessary actions when it comes to the necessary paperwork.
