A source for United States (U.S.) media has claimed that Ben Affleck was “temporarily insane” and has now come to realize that his marriage to Jennifer Lopez will not work. The actor is reportedly making a definitive decision to seek a divorce.
“If there was a way to divorce on the grounds of temporary insanity, he would do it. He feels the past two years have been a feverish dream, and now he has come to his senses and realized there’s no chance this is going to work,” the source claims.
Rumors of their divorce began to circulate earlier this month when it was reported that Ben had moved out of their shared home.
Recently, they were seen together in public after 47 days, and photographers noted that Ben was still wearing his wedding ring. Despite this, many fans believe the end of their marriage is imminent.
Further fueling the speculation, Jennifer liked an Instagram post that stated you cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity, emotional security, respect for your time, communication skills, or self-respect.
It should be noted that Jennifer and Ben started dating in 2001, called off their engagement in 2004, reconciled in 2021, and got married a year later in Las Vegas.
