Best readers and poetry interpreters in 2012

The memorial library ” Ivo Andrić” in Višegrad pronounced the best readers for the year 2012. This recognition went to Milanka Jovanović, Neda Vučićević, Snežana Vuković and Vera Vrećo.

The librarian Stojka Mijatović said that in 2012, the library had 750 active members and readers. All members of the library had 40.000 books on their disposal.

” For the city of Višegrad this is a large number of readers. But among them, the majority are students of Primary and High schools but also retired people”- said Mijatović

According to the librarian Dragan Vuković, this library bought around hundred most popular new books at the Book Fair in Belgrade.

The ceremony organized by the library also presented the best young interpreter of poetry from Primary and High schools in Višegrad. The best interpreters of poetry and literature pieces in general are Nikola Jovanović and Stevan Racković.
