B&H Chamber of Commerce: Necessary to do Audit of Privatization

vanjskotrgovinska-komora-bih1President of the B&H Chamber of Commerce Ahmet Egrlić said that it is necessary to conduct an audit of privatization that would investigate the entire process and the implementation of privatization agreements.

”The fact is that during privatization there were criminal activities and it is necessary to do an audit of privatization that would finally demystify everything that was talked about, thus crime and corruption, and would remove from the ‘honest’ privatization the stigma that, those who honestly privatized their companies bear in some way, because the impression is that somehow every privatization was done in a criminal way”, said Egrlić to Agency Fena.

He supported the proposal to the amendment to the FB&H Constitution that proposed the abolition of the statute of limitations of crime in privatization, and which was determined by the FB&H government at the last session.

”What is left is to see how all this will pass in parliamentary procedures, but I think that in any case, it is a good proposal”, said Egrlić.
