stefan-fuleThe EU Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule will be in B&H on Monday, writes Patria Agency. On Monday, Commissioner Fule will hold discussions in the afternoon with political leaders regarding the current situation in B&H.

It is expected that he would reiterate the stance of the state block of the 28 countries that the European path must be immediately unblocked.

The Sejdic-Finci case remains of key importance to Brussels. Commissioner Fule thinks that an agreement on this issue would unblock the path towards membership, and would allow for political stability and new investments. The unrest in B&H in the last few days in cities throughout B&H are, according to the EU, just a signal that responsible political leaders at the state level have to agree on key conditions.

Also, at the end of next week the High Commissioner for EU Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton will arrive.
