energyEnergoinvest Group gathers a dozen respectable BH companies, which, besides engineering, are engaged in the field of electrical equipment, information systems as well as logistics managing of technological processes in the field of power engineering. Currently, they are preparing for performance at upcoming construction projects of thermal power stations in B&H.

This year, as in the previous ones, they will present themselves at the Energa fair in Tuzla, in order to present the potential of domestic companies in this sector.

Sead Gušmirović, representative of the company Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, which is member of this group, says that the group is currently gathering the most respectable companies from the energy sector.

” We are all preparing in a certain way for the construction of the thermal power project in B&H, as well as for the construction of Block 7 in TPP Tuzla and the construction of Unit 1 in TPP Banovići “, said Gušmirović.

He believes that this is the last chance for the construction of thermal power plants in the region.

”The last directives from the meeting of the G7 refer to extinguishing furnaces on carbon fuels, and we as a country of coal are getting more than 70 % of the energy. Our potentials of renewable energy sources do exist, but they will have to be developed and improved in near future. I’m primarily referring to the potentials of hydropower and wind energy. We need to have more interest in the development of the energy sector, when it comes to these areas ” he said.

For all these reasons, the already started activities regarding the construction of new thermal power plants in B&H, should be ended soon.

”Most certainly we will need to adapt to new conditions of exploitation in the following 15-20 years ” he said.

New thermal power units will have to be in accordance with the conditions defined by the European Energy Community Treaty. He emphasized that emissions of harmful gases will have to be within the framework of the allowed parameters.

Energoinvest strives to participate in all important projects that are taking place in B&H. One of the current projects is the construction of substations and transmission power systems, which is funded by the Elektroprenos B&H.

Gušmirović said that each one of the Group’s companies has its both domestic and foreign arrangements. Energoinvest d.d. dominates by the number of affairs that are taking place in the international market, since almost 90% of their projects are implemented abroad.

Countries like Algeria, Libya, North Iraq, Ethiopia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia are current markets for this company. With their construction sites in Algeria, Albania, Montenegro and Ethiopia they succeeded to provide a solid employment for their staff in this and partially in the next year.
