B&H Council of Ministers Chairman Met With EU Special Representative to B&H

sorensen_bevandaChairman of the B&H Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda spoke today in Sarajevo with the Head of the EU Delegation Ambassador Peter Sorensen on the current political situation in B&H with a special emphasis on meeting the requirements for B&H’s path to the EU.

During the meeting, they expressed concern over the crisis in the FB&H, and especially in the context of the functioning of the institutions of the Fiscal Council of B&H and the Indirect Taxation Authority, in which the legal provisions define the membership of the entity ministers of finance.

Chairman Bevanda and Ambassador Sorensen exchanged opinions on the preparations for quality and efficient work of the subcommittee within the Directorate for European Integration of B&H and said that in the coming period they must be functional in order to overcome the problems on the road to the EU.

At the end of the meeting, they concluded that this year, B&H has to put more effort in order to continue to fulfill the remaining obligations under the Road Map and for B&H, in the interest of all its citizens, to have functioning institutions, announced the B&H Council of Ministers.
