mljekariThe EU Delegation Office for Food and Veterinary, which from 21 January is on a ten day mission in B&H, may positively assess B&H dairy products to be exported to the EU.

This information was announced unofficially by the President of the Association of Milk Producers of FB&H Mehmed Nikšić for Fena.

He said that dairy farmers are ready for the EU, and the biggest problem came from political decisions.

As was announced before the arrival of the Delegation of the EU Office for Food and Veterinary, its task was to assess and evaluate the controls that are conducted by the component authorities in B&H regarding the production of dairy products intended for export to the EU.

If they receive a positive assessment in regard to controls conducted by the competent authorities, B&H will be allowed to export dairy products to the EU.
