After a team seminar, the heads of FIFA spoke to the press in the Brazilian city of Costa do Sauipeu ahead of tomorrow’s World Cup lottery draw.
FIFA decided to increase the price for clubs and teams whose players will participate at Mundial.
For the next World Cup in Brazil, FIFA increased rewards by 37 percent in comparison to the last competition, from 420 to 576 million dollars. The world champion will receive 35 million dollars, the finalist 25 million dollars and third place team will get 22 million dollars.
Every team will receive 1,5 million dollars for the cost of competition and preparation, and 70 million will be given out by clubs that sent their players to the World Cup.
When the amount of 1,5 million adds a figure of eight million, which is how much every team will receive for participation at Mundial, it is clear that the B&H Football Association will cash in 9,5 million dollars for B&H’s entry into the World Cup.
