Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Zlatko Lagumdžija received yesterday the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to B&H Nigel Casey.
During the meeting they highlighted the importance of the friendly support of the United Kingdom in the process of B&H’s Euro Atlantic integration, and the positively evaluated cooperation at the economic level, especially after the UK-B&H Investment Forum, which was held in London on 18 April 2013. They expressed interest for the liberalization of the visa regime for B&H.
Lagumdžija said that the priority of our country in the process of Euro Atlantic integration is the entry into force of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, followed by a EU membership application, and regional cooperation is high on the agenda of the Ministry of Foreign Policy of B&H and B&H foreign policy, which is also the impetus of the continuation of the process of European integration.
They discussed the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly in New York next month.
Ambassador Casey took the opportunity to present Dr. Lagumdžija with an initiation with diplomatic head of Great Britain William Hague to participate together at a ministerial meeting on the prevention of sexual violence in conflict, in addition to the bilateral meetings and other gatherings.
Lagumdžija thanked Ambassador Casey for the invitation to the meeting, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H.
