BiH and EU to Sign Frontex Agreement: Joint Border Operations to Tackle Migration and Crime

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, and the European Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Bruner, will sign the Agreement on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) in Brussels on Wednesday.

With the entry into force of this agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union will be able to organize joint operations in which the officers of the BiH Border Police and Frontex will participate, whereby the European Union will help Bosnia and Herzegovina in managing migrant flows, suppressing illegal immigration and fighting cross-border crime. it was announced from the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
