helikopterThe B&H Ministry of Defense will spend 7.5 million BAM to repair four old American Helicopters from the time of the Vietnam war, which the government of FB&H received as an American donation.

By the end of 2013, the B&H Council of Ministers accepted the request of the Ministry of Defense to spend 7.5 million BAM for the repair of helicopters, type UH1.

Four helicopters that will be repaired are part of a contingent of 15 aircraft of this type, writes RS.

Experts confirm that the problem is going to be that the repaired aircraft cannot be used in cases of fire or to help the population in cases of natural disasters, which was earlier the main purpose of helicopters of the B&H Armed Forces.
