armin durgutA young photojournalist from BiH Armin Durgut (22) won the scholarship of Ron Haviv and Gary Knight, who are known as the most famous war photographers of our time.

Haviv and Knight will hold a workshop for photographers from June 16 to 22, in Sarajevo, where these two world experts will share their experience from the world of photography with their peers.

Only Haviv covered more than 25 wars and worked in more than one hundred countries during the last three decades.

Price of the workshop in Sarajevo is 3,000 USD. The Agency VII offered a limited number of scholarships for photojournalists from BiH, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. The condition for getting this scholarship was to send 20 photos. Haviv and Knight decided that photos of young Durgut deserve the scholarship.

Armin Durgut was born on March 28, 1995, in Zenica. He currently cooperates with several foreign agencies. His works were published in Forbes, NY Post, Wall Street Journal, The Sun, The Sunday Times, Daily Mail, National Geographic and many others…
