B&H Presidency Made the Decision to Engage Military to Assist Flooded Areas

VODOSTAJI RIJEKA U BOSNI DOSTIGLI HISTORIJSKI MAKSIMUMRegarding the current situation caused by floods in B&H, Presidency of B&H this morning held an urgent session to discuss ways to help the civilian organs and citizens of B&H.

B&H Presidency made the decision that all the available human resources and material – technical means of B&H Armed Forces to commit in helping civilian organs and citizens of B&H, in response to the created situation caused by floods in the territory of B&H.

B&H Presidency has authorized B&H Ministry of Defense to involve B&H Armed Forces at the request of the appropriate civil authorities to assist with the new situation in the entire territory of B&H.

This decision will enter into force immediately and shall remain into force as long as civilian organs and citizens of the entire territory of B&H need assistance.

B&H Ministry of Defense is order to continuously report on the situation on the field and on every activity of the B&H Armed Forces to the B&H Presidency, as well as on the all requests for assistance that arrive at the B&H Armed Forces.

B&H Presidency will continue to monitor carefully the development of the situation on the field and will be in close communication with competent civilian organs in B&H, announced this institution.
