The Peace March 2015 is going according to plan and without problems, confirmed the president of the Subcommittee of the Peace March, Hamdija Fejzić.
He says that the participants had problems due to high temperatures, and that there were several light interventions. Yesterday morning, two people were evacuated to Tuzla in a helicopter.
“We leave nothing to chance. Two days ago, approximately 10.000 accreditations were distributed, but not everyone got the accreditation, so the number is surely higher than 10.000. We are satisfied with the behaviour of the participants in the Peace March and everyone is respecting the code of conduct”, Fejzić points out.
Around 220 participants from Žepa took part in the Peace March 2015 this year as well. The column headed off towards Potočari from the Borak village.
“We have had no problems. The participants are from Breza, Mostar, Travnik, Lukavac, the rest are from Sarajevo, Žepa. The weather is perfect for now, but even if it gets hotter we will have no problems because the majority of the path goes through the woods. We are glad that young people responded to this march, and they are the majority. Among the participants are several children not even 10 years old”, said the leader of the movement, Ramo Čardaković.
