Caused by the great interest and demand of flour from foreign and regional buyers, the company Klas decided to reduce as much as possible, and in some countries suspend the export of flour to ensure sufficient quantities for the domestic market.
The decision to reduce the export of flour to large export markets is a strategy of the Management Board of Klas, all with the aim of stability and security of domestic consumers. The fact that the demand for flour is up to three times higher than usual, calls into question the stability and supply of the domestic market, which is a priority at the moment.
Adapting to the current situation and increasingly strict restrictions on the import of wheat and other raw materials, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) consumers must feel safe in the sense that there will be sufficient quantities of Klas flour on the shelves. The primary task is to protect the citizens of BiH in conditions of more than difficult procurement of raw materials, as all other European and regional countries are doing for their domestic consumers at the moment.
Currently, the wheat market is consolidating and redefining the quantities and business conditions initiated by wheat producers, so Klas regularly monitors the situation and assesses the state of stocks of all raw materials in order to continuously and stably supply the market, AS Holding d.o.o stated.
