Within the framework of the Sarajevo Business Forum, the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Edin Forto and the Minister for Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia Ksenija Klampfer signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of digital transformation between the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia.

The Memorandum was signed with the aim of improving bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between the competent institutions of BiH and Slovenia in the areas of digital transformation, electronic communications, information and communication technology management, and the provision of electronic public administration services.

“This partnership represents an important step for BiH on the path of digital transformation and modernization of public services. Cooperation with Slovenia, which is recognized for advanced digital solutions, will enable us to more quickly introduce standards and technologies that will improve the quality of life of our citizens and the efficiency of public administration,” stated Minister Forto.

This strategic step further strengthens the commitment of the two countries to a digital Europe and provides a framework for concrete projects and joint initiatives in the upcoming period –stated the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.
