The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team plays a match of the third round of Group C at EuroBasket tonight, against Italy.
The match for the Dragons comes after yesterday’s defeat by Spain. The BiH national team is aware that they will not have an easy task today, but they are determined to play their best against the favorites.
“The defeat against Spain was deserved, we did not do what we planned and we really need to come prepared against Italy in that regard. I know we can do it and that we have been training for a month and a half. We can play against anyone,” says BiH national team player Amar Alibegović.
The BiH – Italy match in Limassol starts at 8:30 p.m. The match will be refereed by Matthew Leigh Kallio (Canada), Paulo Marques (Portugal) and Peter Praksch (Hungary).
Before this duel, two more matches will be played in Group C. Georgia – Greece will play at 2 p.m., and Spain – Cyprus at 5:15 p.m.
