Bosnia and Herzegovina meteorologist Nedim Sladić announced on social networks the occasion of the official acquisition of the academic title of Master of Science and said that he studied hard for the diploma.
Among other things, Sladić emphasized on Facebook that an era has come to an end.
“Now it’s my turn to take a red stamp and a red ballpoint pen and start crossing. Like that, casually and with a smile over morning tea. You called me an amateur, you called me. You said I was in my second year, you said. Unlike some, I didn’t buy my degree. I worked hard for it. Rage worked. Revolt. That nerve simmered for years. Cried, laughed, pissed off, pulled all-night shifts all summer, enjoyed a little, sacrificed a lot, been so many times myself that I just didn’t know what to do. And I could have frolicked around the UK and traveled if I wanted to and got away with a passable six. A six is sometimes a big defeat, especially when you know you can do more. You’re the first person on the route from Bosnia and Herzegovina since the University was in existence – show that even countries that have less opportunities do miracles,” said Sladić.
He also emphasized how proud he was to have studied in the West.
No matter how much you think the opposite and claim that I joined the Freemasons and the like. Too funny. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was definitely proven that everything is forgiven, but success never is, and I have absolved that today for all time. Thanks to the same ‘masons’, and their transmitted knowledge, I predicted everything for you. And snow at the end of February 2023, and records in November 2022, floods in May 2023, fierce heat this summer. That’s my patriotism,” Sladić points out.
In the end, he thanked Great Britain for everything it provided and made possible.
“From 06 December 2023 under the Higher Education Act of the United Kingdom (England, Wales and Northern Ireland), and with the registration of my grades certified by the Senate of the University of Reading on 09 November 2023 and sent the same day to the British MFA, the official title is MA the science of applied meteorology and climatology. And for that, thank you, dear God and dear UK, for everything that Bosnia unfortunately could not provide. And regardless of everything, no matter how much Bosnia slaps me, I am still a patriot. I was, I am, and I will be.” , Sladić concluded.
