The lawyer of the prime suspect for the double murder in North Macedonia, Vasko Stojkov, was questioned by the police in Skopje and today it should be decided whether he will be detained, Skopje media reported.
We are talking about the lawyer who took Ljupčet Palevsky out of North Macedonia and brought him to Belgrade on November 30.
A few days ago, Stojkov confirmed to the Skopje media that he took Palevsky to Belgrade, where he was supposed to undergo medical examinations.
The first suspect for the murders, Ljupco Palevski, was arrested on Tuesday, December 5 in Turkey, and the other four suspects, who were previously detained, have already been in custody for 30 days.
Proceedings for the extradition of Palevsky, the prime suspect for the murders of the fourteen-year-old girl Vanja Đ. and Panče Žežovski, began yesterday, after the Ministry of Justice asked the competent Turkish authorities to keep him in custody until the end of the proceedings.
The driver who is suspected of helping Palevski escape to Turkey is also in custody.
The Skopje portal “Iks” published footage from security cameras showing the “Citroen” vehicle, which, according to the police, was used to kidnap the girl Vanja Đ, who was later found on fire.
The video was published last night on the “Facebook” page of the portal and shows the movement of “Citroen” and “Renault” vehicles.
According to the time shown in the video, it can be seen that on November 27, at 7:55 a.m., these two vehicles were passing through the street in the Vizbegovo settlement. The video shows the driver and passenger wearing black caps, and something like a sleeping bag on the back seat.
Also, the time on the video shows that the same car was set on fire at 9:37 a.m., when smoke is shown near the spot where the remains of the burning vehicle were later found.
The settlement of Vizbegovo is connected to the village of Brazda, where the body of the murdered fourteen-year-old girl was buried.
The girl and Panče from Veles, who disappeared on November 27 and 24, were found dead near Veles and Skopje on Sunday, December 3.
In addition to Palevski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kešišov and Bore Videvski are charged with their murder, and they have admitted their guilt.
According to the investigation, Vanja’s father, Aleksandar Đorđevski, is also involved in the case, who is suspected of sharing information about his daughter’s movements with the other suspects.
The Prosecutor’s Office stated that Palevski, Manev, Kešišov and Videvski committed the crimes of kidnapping and murder in a brutal manner, while the fifth suspect, the girl’s father, assisted in the kidnapping.
