BiH Council of Ministers to hold Session Today

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina should consider the Draft Loan Agreement (Sustainable Waste Management Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development at today’s session, with the Basis for concluding the aforementioned agreement.

The Initiative for conducting negotiations to conclude an Amendment to the IFAD Financing Agreement – ​​Agricultural Development and Rural Enterprises Project (READP) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) should also be considered.

The agenda should also include the Proposal for a Decision on Establishing the List of Essential Medicines in BiH.

Information on the procedures implemented and the tasks implemented by the Commission for the Purchase of Facilities for the Accommodation of the Diplomatic and Consular Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Skopje, with the Proposal for the Most Favorable Offer and the Proposal for a Decision on the Purchase of Facilities for the Accommodation of the Diplomatic and Consular Mission of BiH in the Republic of North Macedonia – Skopje, is also one of the proposed agenda items.

The ministers should also have before them the Proposal for a Transition Plan in Migration Management, Temporary Reception Centers, from International Organizations to the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the second round of voting, the Council of Ministers of BiH should decide on the Proposal for a Decision on the Introduction of a Temporary Safeguard Measure on the Import of Steel and Steel Products, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.

In the second round of voting, the ministers should also decide on the Information on the Process of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Accession to the European Migration Network, and on the Information on the Need for a Balanced Approach to Labor Migration and Security Aspects of Migration Policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Marked confidential, the agenda includes the Report on the Participation of Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Police Officers in Peace Support Operations, in the Period from 1 July to 31 December 2025, as well as the Proposal for the Work Program of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2026.
