BiH Council of Ministers Tomorrow on Draft Law on Amendments to Law on JMB

zzi 1The BiH Council of Ministers will discuss the draft law on amendments to the unique master citizen number at tomorrow’s session in Sarajevo, which was proposed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The Council of Ministers at the last session postponed a draft declaration of the law for seven days.

“We agreed to try in the next seven days, before the Parliament session, to see whether there is some solution the would be the result, I do not want to say compromise, but the result of some common sense that would lead to us rallying around a solution that would make it in Parliament’’, said the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Zlatko Lagumdžija.

The Council of Ministers is expected to consider tomorrow a draft law on amendments of the law on citizenship of BiH, a draft law on amendments ot the law on permanent and temporary residence of BiH citizens, and a draft law on amendments of the law on travel documents of BiH, which was proposed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

It is anticipated that there will be a consideration of a draft outline for leading negotiations for the conclusion of an agreement on cooperation between the BiH Council of Ministers and the Montenegrin government in the context of the process of EU accession.

On the daily agenda it is expected that there would be a draft decision on the borrowing agency for identification of documents, registers and data exchange of BIH Border Police and the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs for personalization, technical processing and maintaining records of border passes and the draft rules for price border passes.

The ministers are expected to discuss the information on the status of preparations of the strategic document for IPA II (2014-2020) for BiH, information on informing the public on the implications of Croatian accession to the EU, information on the difficulties in the implementation of certain IPA projects, information on the pre-feasibility study for the Neum corridor as well as information on the progress in the implementation of the program as part of the second component of the IPA cross-border cooperation for 2012.
