BiH defeated Latvia 5:0

lulićBiH football team has defeated the team of Latvia with 5:0 in the qualification match for the World Cup 2014 which will be played in Brasil.

BiH team started the match well, and had several chances but Latvian keeper Vanins managed to stop the ball from entering the goal. In 10th minute Latvian player Fertvos got the red card, and Pjanić got another chance of scoring, but Latvian keeper kept the ball outside the goal line.

Until the end of first half-time BiH had several more chances but the half-time ended without goals.

Second half-time started great, and in 48th minute Senad Lulić scored the first goal for BiH, and several minutes later in 53rd minute Vedad Ibišević scored the second goal for BiH.

Ten minutes later, Haris Medunjanin shoots from 25 metres to score the third goal for BiH, and several minutes later Džeko had another chance of scoring but Latvian keeper was more successful.

However, in the 80th minute Miralem Pjanić scored the 4th goal for BiH and two minutes later Džeko scored the last goal for BiH for the final result of 5:0.

With this won match BIH is one step closer to qualifying directly to the World Cup and it is the first team of the group G with 6 played matches, 5 won, one draw, and 23 scored goals with only 3 received and with 16 points.

The second ranked team is Greece with 10 points , 6 scored goals and 4 received.

The third team is Slovakia with 8 points, followed by Lithuania with 5 points, Latvia with 4 and Lichtenstein with 4 points.
