The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Nermin Nikšić and the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina John Ginkel and Brigadier General Chris A. McKinney, Deputy Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy at US Forces Europe Command (USEUCOM).

During the meeting, they discussed improving cooperation in the field of security, strengthening institutional ties and further developing the partnership between the United States of America and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Special emphasis was placed on the possibilities of American investments in the dedicated industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the modernization and technological improvement of that sector.

The interlocutors emphasized that strong security cooperation and economic partnerships contribute to stability, capacity building and the opening of new development opportunities.
