Organized by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH), the Annual Conference on Training in the AFBiH for the year 2022 was held yesterday in the Hall of the AFBiH in Sarajevo.
The conference was attended by Deputy Ministers of Defense Slaven Galic and Aleksandar Goganovic, Brigadier General Mirsad Ahmic and Assistant Ministers of Defense Sead Muratovic, Dzenan Redzo and Zoran Sajinovic.
In front of the AFBiH, the Chief of the Joint Staff of AFBiH, Lieutenant General Senad Masovic, with the Deputy Major Generals Ivica Jerkic and Gojko Knezevic, and other generals and brigade commanders of the AFBiH were present.
He proudly emphasized the successfully implemented “Combined Effort 22” exercise of the Light Infantry Battalion Group of the AFBiH, which, as part of the NEL-2 level evaluation, was rated “excellent”, which made it ready for the NATO pool of forces, available for peace operations around the world, as well as for participation in NATO exercises.
The conference reviewed the level of training of the commands and brigades of the AFBiH in the past year, with an emphasis on key training activities of combat brigades and combat support, specialist training of newly recruited soldiers and international exercises.
“In addition to a series of objective limitations that we had during the last year, the AFBiH, with the maximum engagement of all available potential, managed to realize all important training activities, for which I congratulate them,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Policy and Plans, Slaven Galic, Klix.ba reports.
