On September 2, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will participate in the conversation entitled “Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way to the European Union – successes and challenges”, organized by the European Movement of Austria (EBÖ) and the Representation of the European Commission, in the House of the European Union in Vienna.

On this occasion, Minister Konaković will speak about the progress that Bosnia and Herzegovina has made on the way to European integration, as well as about the key challenges that the country is facing in this process.

During his visit to Vienna, Minister Konaković will meet with the Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger. A meeting at the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) with representatives of the Bosnian diaspora is planned, during which they will discuss issues of integration and the position of the Bosnian community in Austria.

The visit to Vienna will end with a meeting with representatives of Austrian industry and business, with whom the minister will discuss the possibilities of improving bilateral economic cooperation, intensifying business contacts and strengthening economic ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria.
