BiH FM to participate in the Meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković will participate in the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels on Monday, May 22, at the invitation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.

Head of Bosnia and Herzegovina diplomacy will address the audience during the meeting, and then participate in an informal exchange of views between the ministers of foreign affairs of the Western Balkans and the ministers of foreign affairs of the EU on the topic of cooperation in the field of foreign and security policy, especially in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The ministers are expected to discuss together the necessary activities related to security challenges and further strengthening of unity and partnership.

Konaković is scheduled to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ireland, Micheál Martin, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council for Foreign Affairs of the EU.
