European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Policy Oliver Varhelyi welcomed the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, in Brussels today.

As Varhelyi said on Twitter, they discussed the candidate status of BiH and the next steps that should follow.

“The EU path is open, but it requires BiH to implement the outstanding reforms. We stand ready to help Bosnia and Herzegovina on the EU path,” said Varhelyi.
