The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, organized a reception for representatives of diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday on the occasion of his taking over the duty.

Those present at the reception paid tribute to the victims of the catastrophic earthquake in the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic with a minute of silence.

The minister greeted those present, thanking them for coming and especially for the effort they put into strengthening and improving international relations and promoting peace and cooperation in the world in general.

He stated that we are all affected by today’s world events, from economic to political, and that he believes that by creating a strong partnership between our countries, based on mutual respect, trust and understanding, we should work together and look for opportunities to overcome challenges.
