At a ceremony at the Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of the Interior today, the 42nd generation of trainees was promoted to the initial rank of “policeman”.
The training was successfully completed by 296 participants who will be engaged as part of the MUP of Canton 10 – Livno, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Tuzla Canton and Posavina Canton.
The participants of the ceremony were greeted by the Federal Minister of the Interior, Ramo Isak, who congratulated the cadets on their chosen path, and expressed expectations that they will perform their duties as police officers honorably and in accordance with the law.
“It is an honor and a pleasure to be able to address our cadets, because they are the most important here today. Dear cadets, you are the future of BiH, you are the ones on whose backs our country remains and those who need to protect it from criminals in peace, and “God forbid you have to defend it in a war. The future of Bosnia and Herzegovina depends on the police officers,” Isak said.
According to the teachers’ council, the best student of the 42nd generation is Samra Mujkić. In her address, she thanked the teaching staff, lecturers, instructors and all the employees of the Police Academy of the FMUP.
“We are aware that we have assumed a great responsibility, but we stand before you with pride, ready to take on that role. For us, this service is an honor and we promise that we will justify the trust given to us with our work and dedication. We will strive to contribute to the creation of a safe environment for all citizens of BiH. We will be an example of integrity, honesty and professionalism in the performance of our duties. We will be ready to face challenges and solve problems in the best possible way,” said Mujkić.
At the ceremony, which began with the singing of the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, diplomas were handed out to all participants who passed all the tests and successfully completed the very demanding police training, AA writes.
